Begin between Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia, where the Douro, Port Wine and centuries of trade shaped two cities facing one another across the river.

A privately interpreted journey through wine heritage, historic cellars and carefully selected cultural encounters reveals the relationship between place, people and the Douro.

The day unfolds at an unhurried pace, with time for gastronomy, conversation and a deeper understanding of the traditions that continue to define Porto and Gaia.

DAY 02 — PORTO | CULTURE, ARCHITECTURE & THE UNEXPECTED

A deeper exploration of Porto, moving beyond its most familiar landmarks into the cultural and architectural layers that give the city its character.

Private visits, specialist interpretation and carefully selected encounters reveal a less obvious Porto, where historic heritage, contemporary culture and architecture coexist.

Rather than following a conventional city itinerary, the day is shaped around discovery, context and access, creating a more personal understanding of the city.

DAY 03 — FOZ & MATOSINHOS | THE ATLANTIC EDGE

The journey follows the Douro towards the Atlantic, where Porto opens onto the ocean and the character of the destination changes once again.

From Foz to Matosinhos, the day explores the relationship between the city and the sea through coastal landscapes, local culture and gastronomy, with carefully selected stops and private moments along the Atlantic edge.

A final chapter shaped by the ocean, offering a slower perspective on Northern Portugal before returning to The Yeatman.
